Shelf optic.
Inventory DOM.
Competitor unlock.
On the floor or at the desk, Retail Operator sees the shelf, reads the open inventory page, and unlocks hostile stock / pricing portals via Bright Data โ then types the result and forges the audit.
Why this fits the same runtime
Field Operator already fuses vision + unlock + DOM + voice. Retail only changes the targets: shelves instead of parcels, inventory forms instead of assessor portals, competitor stock pages instead of county recorders.
What ships in the loop
Camera frame โ SKUs, facings, empty slots, price tags, promo badges, planogram deviations.
Read the open WMS / order page. Type quantities, overrides, notes without leaving the floor.
Bright Data on protected stock and pricing endpoints. Structured SKU / stock / price back into the agent.
Forge a shelf audit or competitive intelligence report before the walk ends.
Run the retail loop
Open the Retail Agent on your phone, point the camera at a shelf, or paste a competitor stock URL. Same overlay and voice stack as Field Operator โ different system prompt and tool emphasis.
Honest constraints
Shelf optic quality depends on lighting, angle and label readability โ the agent should surface low-confidence reads. Competitor unlock requires a Bright Data key for live results; without it the runtime returns a rich demo payload so partners can still test the loop. DOM fill works on same-origin pages and via the embed bridge on client sites that load the LensDNA pill.
